I've done 1 round trip drive with it. 2 disengagements.

1) I swear it was going to hit the rear tire on the center divide on a left hand turn.
2) It started to turn down the wrong street even though the GPS directions were correct.

Are you guys on the standard software release schedule or "advanced"? (Software Update Preference, in the settings menu)

Just installed this morning, then drove to work. During the 11 miles commute, several issues:

1. The map detoured twice. Initially I thought about road closures or traffic jams. I kept going the route as before, turned out nothing there.

2. At “No Turn on Red”, the car started to turn!

A great feature is the maximum speed can be adjusted by the right wheel, like other Tesla cars. The default for standard is the speed limit posted. But it can be changed in “Hurry” mode with percentage above speed limit. I usually drive 5-10 MPH above, so I chose 10% without the other option.

I also noticed that the car leaves more room from the car ahead when stops, makes me feel more comfortable.

Dirty Tesla does a lot of personification but his commentary relays the 'feel' aspect very well IMO.

The first 2/3rds compares to V13 experience on his TMY. (up to 13:17)
The next 1/3rd compared to the previous version on the CT. (past 13:17)

I just did my first drive of 10 miles on my normal route.

Umm not really sure yet. I wasn’t ready for the speed profiles and the max speed setting. I didn’t really have a problem with auto max speed.

I had it on standard and it was going really slow in my neighborhood. Last version would do 25 and the limit is 25. This one was doing 20 so I had to hit the pedal to get it going to 25. Never did that on the old version.

Then it turned out in front of a truck going really fast and I had to hit the pedal again to get it going so the person didn‘t have a rage fit. Last version didn’t do that.

It was better on the highway. It did still pass into the fast lane with a mile to go to the exit and had to cross 3 lanes to exit.

I will continue to test but first trip was not as good.

Fsd has always ignored signs like no turn on red. We just have to overide it still.

It makes more sense to change the default another way. Otherwise we have to disengage it each time.
