The “troll” is driving a CT, you aren’t. The opinion of someone who doesn’t own a CT is invalid to me.

You’re waiting for one that has an S on the VIN plate or some other convoluted reason. You’ve yet to name even an even far fetched reason for waiting.

You’ll come to your senses someday, probably 5 years from now when you realize you could’ve had a first year model that’s exactly the same but you waited and got a second year model which isn’t any better and has no resale value.

Yes, 2025 Cybertrucks are now here. I was just assigned a 2025 VIN #...XSA059xxx. Here's how it happened: Ordered on 12/11/24, and was assigned a 2024 vin within about 12 hours. I wanted to take delivery this calendar year because it was worth about $16K to me($2K referral credit + $8K FSD transfer + approx $5800 refund for the 20% extra 1st year sec179 tax deduction) but also preferred a 2025 for the eventual resale bump. So I declined the 2024 vin, put the order on hold and went to the showroom every 3-4 days asking if they could check inventory. Finally they found about a dozen "S" vins now headed to Southern California set to arrive this Saturday 12/28/2024. The rep had me cancel the hold and he assigned me the vin for the 2025 truck nearest to me right at the moment I hit cancel (I think he needed to do it right away otherwise the system might have automatically assigned me another 2024). I'm picking it up this Monday 12/30/2024. Very excited! I hope this is helpful to some of you.

I just checked with a SA here in the California Bay Area (Sunnyvale) and he said he only sees 2024 inventory right now.

Yes, I had the same experience. For some reason, Sunnyvale would only tell me about inventory within a 50 mile radius. The Santana Row showroom was able to look through all of California. Maybe ask Sunnyvale if they can expand their search or try Santana Row.
