Brought mine to service center for complaint of vibrating door at high speeds. There is now a Tesla service bulletin apparently and they are ordering a bracket (that broke off?) to install end of January.
Please post bulletin

I just had my truck in the shop a week ago and had this issue listed, they said it was fine and didn’t do anything about it. I can’t stand the feeling of the door flexing. I hope they officially acknowledge it as an issue So they can fix it.

Agreed. This has been going on with my truck since May and gets a bit intense when driving through Iowa with heavy cross winds. Mid summer, I brought it up with SC in eastern cities of MN and the tech who went for a drive with me(to prove it was a real issue..which I actually respect given the type of clients they probably deal with day to day) said it wasn't safe to reproduce because highway speed limits were set at 70mph and my issue happens as 75mph. As a business and liability standpoint, it makes sense. My issue was because of their reasoning, they disregarded the issue. I've had the truck in for multiple tire rotations since and they have yet to give any clear information or solution.

I’ve got a repeat service scheduled for a few days after I pick my truck up from the wrap shop. I will ensure they revisit the issue again.

The doors have no cross beams for crash safety like a normal car door. I’m sure this design is the root cause behind the 1.8mm thick door skin to vibrate at higher speeds.

im no engineer but I’m not sure this is the root cause. The flexing in the door is turbulent, so i believe it definitely has to do with varied amount of air getting into the door itself. I think this because the inside of the door flexes, the outside of the door flexing slightly wouldn’t push the inner door quite the way it does if it was related. I think better seals on the door should fix the issue. If Tesla won’t fix it again after the next visit, I will purchase some of the door rubber seals that are sold online and add additional seals on the door. That should fix the issue.

Door creaks now when driving from a stop after a long trip at high speed. Sound is coming from the B. pillar and not the A pillar. I think it has to do with the door not latching correctly.

Someone else mentioned that but i think that’s a separate but legit issue some are having. The wind noise/vibration described in the thread is def from some sort of pressure/turbulence causing the door to flex and vibrate. I’ll double check it in a few days when my truck is fine getting wrapped and tinted.

Tesla: "To maintain service life, the battery pack should be stored at a state of charge (SOC) of 15 to 50%."

Well, damn. Was told to bring it service center to “replace entire door.” I just had my vehicle wrapped. Now I may decide against having Tesla replace my door so as to not incur the replacement wrap expense.

Oof, the entire door?! That's too bad. I'd really like to have mine fixed but I'm in the same boat with a PPF wrap that I'd rather not change out. I would guess I'd have to buy a whole new roll of wrap. Dang. Let us know if you hear anything more or if they have an option to replace only a subcomponent or bracket rather than the whole door.

apparently there is an entire door waiting for me at the service center. I’m awaiting an answer from my detailer to find out whether I can just buy wrap for the one door. If so, I’ll have Tesla replace the door and let yall know whether that solved the vibration.
