Pitted stainless?
Smaller on the inside?
Abysmal range?
No superchargers outside the state of California?

OMG, he's right! I need to unload this thing right now!
Don't forget "takes 2 days to charge" and "the cheap stainless is crap, just like the DeLorean" (fighting words!)

I don’t watch Cybertruck reviews because I already own one. I don’t even watch any car reviews anymore because I am totally satisfied and happy with my purchase. I hope this is my last vehicle. If not my last, I will get another Cybertruck or maybe cyberSUV.

Maybe this is strange, but I actually thought the video was hilarious. I don't agree with most of everything he said, but I couldn’t help laugh at some of his trash talking or maybe it’s just his delivery.

These types of videos depress me because of how poorly they speak of humanity. Low-tier channel makes $5K in clicks retreading bad-faith tropes just to affirm the opinions of sheep who view the world through social media headlines. It was the same $hit with my Alfa. All the "journalists" tripped over each other to pile on about the "dated interior" and "questionable reliability", crushing US sales and resale value. The reality was the 2.0L cars were (and still are) super reliable performance cars with excellent physical controls that many people have now come to miss. It's easy to laugh this stuff off, but this bottom-feeder group think hurts owners and the enthusiast market at large. You should not have to do daily battle with an entire mob of aggressive, uninformed consumers just to drive something a little different.

Why repost this factless drivel?
1. Situational awareness is important. Not that you should be unaware of the situation when it comes to Cybertruck hate.

2. RCR is mostly satire (but like more than a few ppl he really doesn’t like Elon or Tesla).

3. You’re really late to this party, the post is a month old.

4. Also, some of you are outing yourselves as not really car guys (and that’s fine). But RCR is not fringe or low quality or new. Dude has been reviewing cars on YouTube since 2012 and has just under 1 million subscribers today. He’s very much a fixture and known quantity at least to those of us who are (1) into cars and (2) visit YouTube to watch people talk about cars.

5. As someone posted way back at the beginning these guys tell you right upfront who they are and what they’re about in the description: We make fun of your favorite cars! Brian (Mr. Regular) and Nick (The Roman) are award-winning Automotive Journalists and former English teachers who use their Master's Degrees for ridiculing car culture!

But, the hate for the cyber truck is real, and part because he’s a petrol head, in part because he hates Elon. He really does like the Slate though. Most of the cars he likes I think are stupid. All that said he’s quite knowledgeable about all things cars and has some really amazing insights about car culture in general when you can get past his delivery. Learned a lot about cars over the years watching this guy.

He’s probably more responsible for anybody on the planet for the meme of Corvette owners being guys were constantly saying “I know what I have, no low ball offers”

No point in being thin skinned about it the cars we own. It isn’t who we are. It’s just a piece of chattel.

All of this is probably making it sound like I’m defending this guy or a bigger fan than I am. I’m not that vested in this or trying to defend him in anyway, just answering your question, Doc.

*Also, not for nothing, and definitely not the reason I post here, but some days ago I wandered into an area here on the site I’ve never seen before where it shows stats about your posts and this post has had more interactions with it than any post by me on this website and all the time that I’ve been here with (including my post where I discovered how to auto park in my garage years which comes in second) - It’s not even close!

All I was saying is that reposting something you don’t like gives it more power, not less.

I’m not affected by people not liking my truck. I don’t care. I was never asking for their permission or opinion. The fact that he couldn’t ignore the truck even though he doesn’t like it is a statement by itself.

You’re right. When everyone was 12, it was only the cute girls that had all the little boys snap their bra straps and shit like that.
