I wish that they had taken a still when they were directly parallel to the vehicles to really give us an idea of the CT length. These picture make the CT look absolutely massive next to the other vehicles.
The way it should be..... Dwarf them all!!!!

I hope that picture with the hood section removed doesn't mean the front won't lift with it as one big L shape. That was smart on the Lightning and I was hoping the CT would do the same. Also, hard to tell from that angle how much room there is for frunk with all the "guts" you can sort of see. All in all, I probably care the least about the frunk I guess but first details of any kind I have seen.

The nose of the Cybertruck is about the same height as the bottom of the Lightning frunk, within a couple inches. There's no space for an L, and the front of the L would have to be there when the truck was in motion, no matter if the outer layer was or not. It's structural.

The frunk would be a big deal to me if it didn't have the bed cover. Since it does have the bed cover, I doubt I will ever use the front except for things like charge cable, first aid and maybe some takeout.

I was thinking the same, but that looks like a test mule they decided to park outside, so I'm not confident about deriving any details from the grainy photos. It does seem like its a top loader frunk atm though which I think is not ideal, but I'd expect would be subject of passing crash testing anyway, which I don't believe they have started yet?

I wonder how long it takes to hand build these prototypes and how far behind the production drawings they are.

You’re seeing the front of the drawer!

(File this under unlikely bit I’d still like it).

A while back someone posted a picture of it and someone said “I love everything expect for the big ass wiper”. And it the phrase kind of developed a life of it’s own.

Beautiful Awesome Wiper also works.

Obviously! ?

I don't appreciate all the junk they already put in the frunk though. I want every inch of space for utility. I count 3 seperate vessels in there, are they trying out a methane propelled version or somthin and it blew the doors clean off?

I like seeing the testing action! I hope we see more pics & video like this throughout the year.

It also confirms (for me at least) that the CT does not look as attractive with light silver rims. They are akin to white socks with a dark suit (lol).

Can we have somebody do forensics on the length since it is right next to known cars (or did we already accomplish that with prior pictures)?

I have to say, I think the truck looks so much better in some of the recent pictures than when I first saw it. I know some of you love the way it looks, but I made my reservation inspite of the way looks and because of the value. I'm starting to think it is going to look a lot better, especially in person, than I initially thought. The profile from the side back is quite nice.

The wheels on the test CT appear to be a torque instrumentation transducer assembly - to measure torque.

A transducer is what they want you to think. That there is a BAW to clean the side cameras and fingerprints from crazed fans. Four-wheel wipers! 4680s will compensate for the hit to range ?

Edit: That’s the third time I fell for the old torque instrumentation transducer assembly trick this week
