The Cybertruck may fall into the 3/4 and 1 ton gas/diesel pickup truck category where a fuel mileage label is not required on the Monroney label. I think the exemption is vehicles with a GVWR of 8500 pounds and over.

Ahh yes, that's what he was talking about. Another loophole for Tesla not to give us the info we need lol

as Mini said, it’s possible Tesla would be exempt from *having* to provide EPA

CyberTruck GVWR will be in excess 9,000lbs, over the EPA’s 8,500lb for the exemption

FWIW, that doesn’t prohibit Tesla from getting EPA ratings. The Lightning Platnum trim is also just over 8,500 GVWR, and Ford hot/reports it.

Given Tesla’s track record if not Press around range, I’d hope Tesla would look to get the EPA figures.

Otherwise, boy will it be an interesting watch over the coming months! 🤣

in any event, the cat being on the ‘test’ sticker I assumed (for now) for ease is as with the Model S: simply not there yet (but no doubt they might never put it there)

they Mulroney won’t have to be displayed if they’ve not yet entered production / retail sales - same as why these units don’t have Mulroneys yet

That said, at least Tesla’s “test” Mulroney’s are starting to be seen (with the cat in place of EPA data, etc)

How did this not conclude with a dive bomb drone maneuver?
