I think I am with you. I don’t need all-terrain for my use casesNot sure if posted b4 but i just saw them after i got FS invite. Im going with Core due to thinner spokes for painted calipers and AS tires. Will look into something to plug up the hub hole

[raises hand]. Me too. My use case isn’t nearly as cool as many on here. Basically soccer dad, home project dad with some skiing and biking (with kids)The AT looks cool and rugged, but AS are not bad either. Furthermore, I will probably never take it off-road. That will be case for 80-90% of CT owners, IMO. This goes for Land Rover owners. Land Rovers are probably the most capable off-roaders, but the owners (like 95%) will never take it off-road. Maybe to the soccer-field. Anyway, I prefer the smoother ride and range it provides.
This is good to know!I have the AT wheels and tires and the ride is shockingly smooth. If I drove it without knowledge of what was outfitted on the wheels, I would never think it was an AT tire. Super quiet, and again, super smooth.
I've had my truck for about a month now and have put on almost 1000 miles, mainly taking the kid to and from school, getting food, running errands, etc. I never plan to take it off-roading (although I should never say 'never').
Unless you care about a few extra miles, the AT wheel and tire setup looks way more aggressive and fitting for the truck, at least to me (that is, once the updated wheel aero covers are back on as I highly dislike the look of the wheels without them).
That's the coolest stuff anyone can do, dude! Savor it![raises hand]. Me too. My use case isn’t nearly as cool as many on here. Basically soccer dad, home project dad with some skiing and biking (with kids)
This is my exact plan ... Maybe some AS tires with a modicum of style...They are both 20" wheels. Am I wrong to think you can't just put all season tires on once you wear out your first set of all terrains?
I ordered the all terrains with the plan of putting all seasons on them after 30,000 miles or whenever I wear out the first set. Should be a nice efficiency boost after a few years of degradation.
