Love this truck. Approx 36 hours after taking delivery, I headed off to the east coast. With 5,005 miles and 14 days later I arrived home.

Observations:
  • Usage was 463Wh/mi with around 95% of the miles at interstate speeds between 70-80 mph.
  • Probably spent 20 hours in the rain with some hail mixed in I think it passes the car wash test. Wiper performed well, though auto wipers remain trash.
  • Attention as expected was high, I answered as many questions as I could and let people get inside most of the time. Represent.
  • Rides smooth, TACC is great even without FSD.
  • Got back into the Model X and almost understeered directly into a car taking a 90 degree turn. Steer by wire is the future and everything else feels old in comparison. Steering wheel in the Model X now feels like a tractor.
I'm driving to Canada and up to Alaska in a few weeks, should be a fun drive.

Happy driving!

Trip A: Lifetime stats (I never reset these in my Teslas) 457Wh/mi
Trip B: Road trip mileage (begin highway miles)
First 450 miles were local in the first day (making sure it was road worthy)

I have not washed the truck since VA, the rain removed most of the bug carcasses leaving these stained remains. I'll try to follow up with post-cleanup.

I saw another weird post on reddit where a guy had completely bald rear tires after 6k miles (allegedly). Here are my fronts and rears (in order). Will be rotating in the next day or so.

My grass after 2 weeks, dandelions are thriving. Prolly get some weed and feed and turn the sprinklers on, looks like Colorado is done snowing (fingers crossed).

Thanks for sharing.

SBW and RWS seem to be game changers. These are the top two features of the Cybertruck that I can’t wait to experience for myself.

Pics? Congrats on the journey(s)!
Added some pictures and some more useful info.

At 463Wh/mi, that's around 265 miles, which is fantastic at 70-80 mph speeds!
Lifetime is 457Wh/mi so far, I wish I had captured "mixed driving" the first 450 miles, but feel free to do the heuristic math if you are bored : D

I've yet to drive another vehicle since I got the Cybertruck 2 months ago. I'm terrified lol

The only time I ever take the Model S over the Cybertruck is if it's a long drive, since I let FSD drive me. Can't WAIT for it to work on the Cybertruck!

The CT valance would be a good candidate for clear Saran Wrap before starting a long trip. It should cling and then the owner can peel off when they get home.

They also sell a product called Track Armour that was designed for temporary front end protection.

They make this "Bug Guard" crap that I tried once, which amounted to an expensive automotive Vaseline layer that got on everything. Only used it once.
