Tesla can temporarily put order on hold for 2 weeks once it used you need to accept next assigned if not order will be cancelled.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Ask Tesla directly if any options exist apart from what you're saying and report back to us. This question has been asked a few times from folks who are not ready yet to purchase the truck.

I guess I jumped the gun with excitement or my 9:00 PM response was too late for their 5:00 PM message. “Hi Christian. This is Elijah with Tesla. Unfortunately, the Cybertruck I sent you is no longer available, and we currently have none on site. We’ll update you as soon as new inventory arrives. I’m driving an old truck with no AC or cruise control. This will you be a huge upgrade when it actually arrives lol

The proxy and transfer is a No-Go. You can't just transfer your order, you'd have to give the person your tesla account including email and password but your name will still remain tied to that account. Additionally, you're not even present to try and push this through with the SC. Tesla says all names tied to order have to be present at pick-up.

You have a $10k discount on the line and only you can decide if that amount of money is worth it or possible to hop on a plane and come get the deal done.

You can disregard that change. I got it myself, but its due to the latest update on the Delivery Status for Tesla app. That information has always been there, but the developer of the app updated it to include those two fields (More Than Two Weeks Until Delivery and Registration Ready for Scheduling). Only thing that has changed is that the app will now monitor those two fields.

Anyone hear planning on doing a DIY wrap. I am stuck between doing a color ppf either from diy wrap club and twraps. Both seem to be pretty similar quality. I will probably wait until a Labor Day sale or Black Friday to pick one up. I like the stainless steel look but want easier upkeep and my wife thinks it will not make the truck stand out a little less than it already does.

I think @Alpine is correct. I don't know how long you expect to be away, but your other option is to gamble that the next available will have a long delay. Doesn't look like they are cranking out GA deliveries.

Okay .. so earlier when I asked you about the hold option - I guess I was more interested about this multiple vin thing.
So, when you exercise hold option, do they remove the assigned vin, and then reissue another when it's near the end of the hold period?
Or did you order 3 CTs?

I'm open to it but no idea how that works with Tesla as I am in California but can take it over and fly to pickup. Don't think Tesla will go for that though

@ct59k I think they will let you do a POA so someone can pickup on your behalf (not transfer). Not sure about all the details. Might have to check with Tesla.
