$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

Just got done doing one final test drive. Was with the premium all-wheel-drive though here in North Carolina. Just wanted to make sure I was making the right decision before I accept a delivery and make my wife feel like I was doing my due diligence. Guys we are getting so much vehicle for the money we are paying. The Tesla sales rep didn’t even know what I was talking about when I said I reserved one for 59,000. She said we’ve never sold them for that price lol
She said at that price we got the deal of a lifetime! I know this delivery process is testing all of our patience but I think it is going to be well worth the wait. Today’s test drive just made me even more excited to get this truck delivered. Also spoke to a sales manager, and she looked internally at my account and they can only see the same thing we are seeing. I have a September 6 – September 30 delivery and she could only see the same thing. Hang in there guys! This truck is worth the wait!

I agree. Several people within Tesla have no clue about the 10-day $59K sale.

Since I'm not going to be in front of the con (PC) tomorrow morning, here are some stats since the last update 2 weeks ago:

27 deliveries (incl. 5 scheduled through end of July)
118 users pending delivery
7 confirmed declined deliveries
12 pending deliveries with previous RN#s (<127xxxxxx)
19 pending deliveries missing tracker info (state and/or RN#)

I’ve been pondering this data set. Time for some guesswork!
There are 144 reservations in the tracker. Half of these reservations were on the 22nd or before, the other half are on the 23rd or later. So, one half of the reservations were made in the first 4 days and the second half were made in the last 6 days. If (it's a big if) our sample is representative of all the reservations placed, and (wild guess) 40,000 trucks were ordered, then they need to build and deliver 20,000 trucks just to get to the halfway point, which is the end of the 3/22 reservations.

So from my RN (2/20) I’m seventh in the tracker data. To my friend who ordered his 2/28 75,873 vehicles were ordered between those dates. I’d assume maybe 10 to 15% were the 59k. So high side 11k are the SAWD.
But that’s just my estimate

5k-10k seems to be a good range of how many ordered. Hard to know since they are being delivered in separate quarters. We also don't know how much the 59k truck cannibalized the higher priced models.
