I went to my Tesla account online and was able to easily access the edit feature. A few months back I added the Terrestrial Armor Package and FSD subscription and was assured by the local Service Center it would have no impact on my delivery date - originally Sept/Oct when I placed the order on 2/25, now 2027....which was the case before I upgraded.

Damn that looks better. You’ve inspired me 😂

Did you happen to try the same stuff you used on the tonneau?
I have to agree. @Mini2nut is an inspiration to my credit card and its existence. 😂😂😂

Only 2 more mods to go before putting my CC down😁

-front seat covers
-rocker side steps

I have been shopping all of the Chinese manufactured seat covers on the market and I'm not sold on any of them. I will keep shopping for better options.

I just purchased some rocker panel steps (blemished) at a significant discount that have a very OEM appearance. They should be shipping out next week.

I ordered the Hansshow white quilted covers on 6-2, they arrived 7-2. So don’t get in a big hurry for seat covers once you order, they take a while. I haven’t opened them yet, but they are supposed to be super soft Napa leather.

Was browsing X and saw someone post a photo of the center console from the rear also had some finishing issues.

“Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern”? 🧐

Edit: added link to x post -

That does not look like a finishing issue, it looks like damage (possibly during manufacture).
Before claiming a pattern, we need to determine that the other reported problems were not on the same truck. In other words, were the pictures on X the same problem, were they the same demo truck? Has anyone that actually took delivery had this issue (maybe the reason it is a demo truck is because of this factory damage).

Definitely something to check when taking delivery.

After reading all the discussions about tire size and wheels I decided since we got the "EDIT" button back I would change my order and removed the 20" tires and wheels.

I also edited my order to 18". Hoping that doesn't put me out another 6 months. Thanks all for the advice/discussion.

One other question for those who have their CT, I was wondering without the air suspension, does it feel more necessary to add step rails? If the truck doesn't drop, it seems like it would be awkward without them? How does entrance/exit "feel" without them?

I thought getting in and out would be a problem but it's been fine for me.

Wait til you get the truck to decide. Steps can be very awkward if your height and the truck height with steps don't line up. Iv never used steps to exit, my foot goes straight to pavement. Getting in i can use steps only if truck is at a certain minimum height.
