One thing I will genuinely miss is the rear screen entertainment. Haven’t seen this discussed much anywhere. I like having my kids watch movies and YouTube on roadtrips in my model 3 without bothering me. And the single annual subscription for premium connectivity is great.

Now, what options do we have for the 59kCT? Long shot, but will a retrofit of the premium CT part work? I guess it might not due to some firmware differences. If not what aftermarket solution would provide seamless integration?

Not sure how old your kids are but my now teen's are always on their phones or iPads so for me the screen is a non-issue and its more open for your legs in the middle seat should you have 5-passengers.

On the fence with PPF. Just not sure I can narrow down my color and of course the cost is high. If I stayed stainless I’d definitely do ceramic coating. My understanding is you can’t ppf if you do the ceramic coating. I’m sure that’s for a time period or have it removed.

I got the @TWRAPS swatch book. A lot of amazing colors to choose from and about $1200 or so for the kit afaik. I’m leaning toward one of the matte greens.

Yep Twraps and DIYWrapClub (good videos) are my front runners if I go DIY.

No problem. I just updated my initial post with links to both. I REALLY love the look of them and the ride is fantastic. I save about 16#'s per wheel by using the AW since its cast forged but gain back more weight with the Bridgestone vs the factory Goodyear. Total weight savings is about 6#'s total between the factory setup and the new AW + Bridgestone setup.

Well, shoot. Now you have me googling DIY tint. I saw some good feedback and comments on one of the sponsors, @TWRAPS:

We see a high success rate on the CT tints (DIY) as the windows are very flat. Basically - follow the video, use plenty of soapy water, take your time and as long as you do it in a clean environment - you save yourself $$$ from a pro install shop. The tint itself is as good as tint can be in 2026 - premium nano ceramic tint.

I read on Reddit someone saying the Tesla SC told them it would work if you bought one from them for $800. Who knows. I’ve seen some on eBay for 4-$500.
