Trip complete. Back at home.. back at work.. womp womp.

Total Distance: 7796 mi
Total Energy: 3492 kWh
Evg. Energy: 448 Wh/mi

The drive home from OR to TN, we decided to not stop anywhere. We were tired and ready to get home, and relax a bit before returning back to work. I really really wish we had FSD. Would have made this crazy drive home so much better. Anways, we got home in 2 days. It was a crazy long drive, taking shifts to drive straight through. Left on Tuesday at 4am, arrived in TN Thur at 4am. It was estimated it'd take 1 day 20 hours. We only added 4 extra hours to the estimate. Not bad.

No issues with the truck other than a piece of rubber from the tonneau coming off and flapping in the wind. Stopped at a home depot, applied some adhesive, and problem was solved.

We won't try to camp each day across the country again. It really limited out drive time. Forced us to take 5 days to get there. Most campgrounds close their gates at 10pm, and several nights we cut it really close to get there on time. I suggest driving through hard to key locations and spending more time there rather than going from location to location each day.

Q: Would I do this again for my family reunion camping trip next year?
A: Yes, and with FSD I forsee this trip becoming even more enjoyable.

@Campstream I was disappointed to see the Kickstarter failed to get funding. Please, please, please, still make your cybertruck HVAC product. I NEED it. Would be happy to take a test/beta product and help with testing!

Tip: If you have the Cargo bins, there is a small space at the back of the bed of the truck. It's perfect for firewood. Can't fit a lot, but it's a nice addition should a campsite not offer any.

Tip: Fishing poles and camping chairs fit really well in the gap between the cargo bins.

Tip: Do not rely on a campsites electric hookups for charging unless you verify it has the correct 220 plug. I planned to arrive at the campsite sorta low, got there, and ugh our first camp stop in Oklahoma had Hookups, but not the hookups we needed. Ended up plugging into 110 and it sucked. Plans changed after that first night.

Tip: Grand Canyon, there are super chargers just south of Grand Canyon Village. Top off there, and do the primitave camping sites. Only about 18/night, much cheaper than the rest.

Tip: Nabraska, RUNZA restarant. Avoid it. Soggy mess of food and the area stank of.. well.. lets just say grossness. Coulda just been this location, but wasn't a great first impression of the chain. Sorry to all the Runza lovers out there.
was the electric post in OK a TT-30 (110v 30a) and you didn’t have the adapter or the 14-30 previously mentioned. I’ve never seen the 14-30 (residential 240v dryer plug) in a campground. I wouldn’t even think to have that one TBH

I don't really remember the port/plug config now that time has passed, but that's probably right.
After that I was tempted to get the additional adapter kit so I wouldn't have the problem in the future. I didn't, but I was tempted to.
