If it was arson (my guess) then it's just another brick in the wall between the sane and insane. The level of ignorance it takes to attack inanimate objects (personal property) to address your petty grievances is off the charts.

As today is my Cybertruck delivery day, I suppose I'm a little more sensitive to all this non-sense. That said, my reasons for buying a Cybertruck are enhanced by this type of hyperbolic reaction. If the Cybertruck represents something evil or unjust to these morons, I'm more motivated than ever to shove it in their face.

Federal arson carries a max of 20 years, but similar cases in the area typically shake out to around 10 years in the clink after all the courtroom drama. With Teslas everywhere packing cameras, plus the facility's own surveillance, nailing these clowns should be a cakewalk.

Prosecutions for roasting Teslas have been cranking up the heat. Sentences used to top out at 5 years, but recent ones are hitting 10-15, with DAs gunning for the full 20. I figure judges will start slamming the max before long.

These types of consequences won't register with some smooth-brained political zealot nursing a rage boner, but at least it gifts them a snug federal cell to stew in for a solid stretch of their lives while keeping their foolishness out of society.

Major metropolitan fire lieutenant here - first off, glad this wasn’t batteries. In this case, the fires would have been very easy to put out. Also, the chances of these catching fire separately obviously is zero. Also for a car fire to extend to the neighboring car and create two fully involved vehicles in the daylight in a city where it would have been called in pretty quick to 9-1-1 is pretty unlikely.. especially with that significant level of burning to both. Would not shock me if it is arson.
