Aero covers showing up on new deliveries; but prior deliveries still haven’t received theirs?

Any idea why tesla is doing this and isn’t fixing this issue? Two cyber trucks have been delivered on my street this week with aero wheels… I received my ct in February and still don’t have them. Just curious if anyone has inside understanding of what is going on.

Yeah, it's pretty simple to understand. If they ship new cybertrucks without wheel covers, and ship the wheel covers to us, the number of covers they have to ship only grows, because they obviously don't have enough for both.

If they just keep making us wait, they have to ship half as many covers, because instead of shipping covers to us now, and then to the currently shipping trucks later, they just have to ship to us later.

Sucks, but it does make sense

If you recently installed Aero covers after running without them for some time, could you post some efficiency comparisons?

…. Whoa. In an effort to try to understand your rationale, are you assuming they put aero covers on as soon as the truck is ready for shipment #1 from factory?

…They don’t…. they are shipped from a completely separate locations and install the covers at the service centers. They don’t originate shipment of the truck and wheels covers from the same location.
