I ordered an AWD this week and it said 4-6 weeks. I have a VIN (this morning) and a confirmed FSD transfer from my trade in 2025 Model Y. After owning 3 Tesla's (2 Y's and an X) and the wife and two daughters driving Tesla's all with FSD, I finally made the decision to get the Cybertruck.

FSD is so good now that combined with e-bike transport in the closed vault, I've got all the required features for my daily driver and road tripper. The test drive of a Beast with FSD 14.2.X convinced me that I can and will use FSD on the Cybertruck and occasionally drive it for fun because, it is really fun to drive

With only mild off roading with perhaps an occasional stream to cross I think I can ride this vehicle to the proverbial beach. Since I haven't done a Tesla launch for over a year the Cyberbeast was overkill and certainly not worth $20K more. 0-60 in 4 seconds in a 7000 lb truck is also too much but can still get the blood flowing if I so choose.

I'm hoping my seriously delayed purchase (early reservation holder) will yield a well sorted out vehicle. The engineering in the CT is amazing and now that FSD has mastered SBW and RWS as demonstrated in my demo drive this week, going all in was the right thing to do. I still find it odd looking but everything else about the truck I can live with or love ...

That's a long delay, but might be a good thing. Sounds like there may be an upgrade going on with the vehicle/production lines. The timing would be right now that we're two years in and battery and CPU upgrades were rumored/expected this year.
