Haven't received the email yet. I am currently on step 3 of the Qmerit process (local installer has submitted bid to Qmerit which has to review before releasing to me).

It will be super messed up if Tesla doesn’t honor the $4K credit towards labor on the Beast. I think they will do the right thing but may take time.

If I get the hardware myself, do I really need to have a pro install it? It's not the first time I've removed my meter...đź’€
Provisioning the units is the hardest part honestly. My installer spent a majority of the time getting all the correct software on both the gateway and wall connector

The weird thing is the Gateway is not available to purchase in the online shop. So if you don't already have a PW, I'm not sure how Powershare is going to work without the gateway. Before, you would contact a certified installer and they would get the GW direct from Tesla. Now it seems like Tesla will sell and ship the GW directly to customers.

I already have a Tesla PW + PV system so I'm good for the GW, but I need the UWC, which is available in the shop. I guess I'll use the remainder of the $2500 towards other CT accessories.

IMPORTANT: Check the fine print at the bottom. Any amount leftover after that single transaction will be forfeited.

So if you buy a $5 item from the shop, the rest of the $2495 disappears.
Yes. One transaction is all you get from the voucher.

I didn’t get an email, I took delivery almost a month ago.
Already went through all the PowerShare stuff and my installation quote ($3,300) I paid 1/2 already as a deposit.
Wonder what’s going to happen in my case.

Any point in buying the universal charger vs the wall charger? I don’t want PS, just a faster charger. Even the universal charger says it must be installed by a certified installer, but I’d just use it for a charger right now. In case we get a Rivian.

I just received an interesting email from Tesla . Looks like we will get a $2500 credit for all foundation series.

Received as well. Not an owner, my order is on hold for Foundation (I’m waiting for NFS). If this is in addition to power share, seems to me like they’re buttering up FS owners?

Same here, PW+PV. However, I had an installer conducting a survey at my place, and he was unsure where to connect the UWC in a way that it could feed CT with solar-generated energy and draw back from CT during a blackout.
