There's legitimate testing. And there's out and out abuse.

This was just sophomoric kids, doing sophomoric things. And proof that the idiot gene is alive and well.

I agree. I thought it was entertaining. And the CT seemed to do pretty well. Ford wasn’t drivable after first test with broken driveline.

He’s done just as bad to G wagons and Ferrari, yet the Tesla example gets all the focus since so many love to hate on it and will use this or anything available to fuel that storyline.
agreed. He has done a lot of damage to things. That is his game. Hard to understand all the hate. Such a good truck. Has things, but almost everything does..

The casting wasn't a concern til he invented concern with his unbased "test"
That's just not true though.

Tesla's large castings are a concern to the insurance industry, to body shops, and to Tesla themselves.

It's a new way to build cars, and for trucks that are designed to take on large loads, reparability should and IS a concern.

The video is clearly an abuse video meant for the clicks, but a similar situation could happen traversing sketchy terrain.

There isn't enough damaged ones on the road, and I'm personally super curious to see how they deal with it.

I meant in regards to strength / towing. Sorry. I know insurance has their woes cause it’s new

The casting here is absolutely repairable though.

You're concerns about the concerns of insurance and body shops being concerned about castings is not true.
Castings can be repaired just like pieced together frames. Check out the videos of Lars and other EV body shops and tear down experts explaining that castings are absolutley repairable.

WD is an entertainer that will do anything for the hits. No one ever would treat their vehicle like he did. It was a deliberate attempt to make the CT look bad. Sorry WD it will keep on seeing no matter he did. His channel reminds of wrestling in the 80's all staged and all just entertainment. I love my CT.
