Random question for the group... Also, I would love to be able to (and photograph as proof) jumpstart a dead ICE vehicle from my Cybertruck one day.

How do you jumpstart an ICE vehicle from your Tesla? The only thing I am visualizing is to plug in an electric battery charger from the vault of the Cybertruck and hook the jumper cables to the terminals of a dead ICE vehicle... But I am hoping there is a simpler solution.

I think once a photograph of a Cybertruck jumpstarting an ICE F-150 would be a great photo to have in the archives. haha

You don't
The 12v in a regular Tesla isn't designed to crank an ICE
maybe different in a CT but seeing the low wattage available it may not work either

As noted by @Tiberius above, You don't.

I would just carry a portable jumpstart booster such as this one, and I'd never connect any external circuits or vehicles to my Tesla 12V battery. I've used portable boosters before (I own one similar), and they work quite well.

Even when jumpstarting other vehicles from my ICE car, I disconnect the positive side of my own car's cable from my battery to isolate it, so that any problems existing in the other vehicle will not affect my vehicle. If I don't think my ICE 12V battery has enough juice to jumpstart another vehicle in that way, then I just don't do it.

It's time consuming and too risky for me to even think of connecting my Tesla 12V battery to any other car. Much easier to carry a portable booster around if I think I would often come across people needing a jumpstart.

In the case of your Tesla being a Cybertruck, you have no 12VDC high current sources anyway, as all the main low voltage circuitry is 48VDC. There is a small amount of 12VDC current in the trailer connector, but that would never start a car, nor would you ever want to connect it to anything except to a trailer.

But possibly if you kept one of these booster packs plugged into the 120 Volt outlets of your Cybertruck, and topped it off every so often you could 'say' that the Cybertruck power was used to jumpstart another vehicle. But I would never connect the 12V system of another vehicle directly to a Tesla.

I have one of these and I'd use it. Not exactly portable.
Curious what that manual says. I don't recall that.

DBPOWER Peak 1600A 18000mAh Portable Car Jump Starter(up to 7.2 Gas, 5.5L Diesel Engines) Battery Booster with Smart Charging Port, LCD Display, Intelligent Jumper Clamps, Compass and LED Light (Red) https://a.co/d/6bV1hXn

It’s small, light and can double as a portable device charger.

Thank you for the thorough response. It all makes complete sense. I am glad I asked the question before I screwed up my Cybertruck's electric system. :( I am going to get something like you posted to help out other ICE vehicles in need.

Did you mean 48v?
Nope - key word being "regular", all other Teslas are 12v and specifically say not to try jump starting an ICE

Holy cow, that thing is tiny.

It has a capacity to jump a vehicle just once or twice. I've been able to self-jumpstart when my battery was sagging at end-of-life.

Another thing about ICE I won't miss, lol
