17xx - I’ve seen VIN ranges well above mine and well below mine report this issue. Same with mileage (15K on mine), most were much lower mileageman sorry this happened to you. totally sux and in the early morning too when its still dark. thanks for the tip on carrying things for safety. What is your VIN range?
Bro, you should put that in the initial post and not waste everybody's time, the issue was fixed 4 months ago.17xx
https://service.tesla.com/en-US/vehicle-models/CybertruckCan someone drop the link to where these service bulletins are posted? I have the vin/recall lookup but sounds like i need to be watching these too?
twice here for rear. Recall is also for the front inverter which they replaced last week for me.My inverter failed and was replaced on October 3rd. Tesla released a service bulletin on October 4th addressing the inverter issue. I made a service appointment on Nov. 18th for a minor issue, and Tesla now added the inverter to be replaced on certain CTs. Since my inverter was just replaced, most likely Tesla will not replace mine, but they'll ensure I have the newest inverter. People who are concerned about their inverter failing before a long road trip, stop by a service center and ask them to run your VIN to see if you have any pending service bulletins for your CT.
The issue was certain components in the inverter, not the design itself. They know which VINs have which inverters have which MOSFETs.Wow… SC informed me that mine was replaced with the exact same part -not a newer / revised version ??. So, back on a ticking time bomb… what was your mileage between inverters?
It’s just interesting that so many folks I know have had the same issue happen over and over again….The issue was certain components in the inverter, not the design itself. They know which VINs have which inverters have which MOSFETs.
Tesla SC said it's happening to mostIt’s just interesting that so many folks I know have had the same issue happen over and over again….
"Most"? As in more than 50% of all Cybertrucks on the road will or have had a hardware failure like this?Tesla SC said it's happening to most
of the trucks made to date. They do 3 a day at most of Bay Area, CA facilities. I've been in three times. Two for recalls front and rear and one time a failure.
