Any suggestions on how to precisely clean the Cybertruck’s front FSD camera?

Do you have any ideas on how to clean the front FSD camera that’s covered? I’d rather not spend $80+ at Tesla service. Ideally, there should be an easy way to clean it—or it should be covered by Tesla.

It really is easy on the Cybertruck, compared to Model X. There are several YT videos on cleaning the area or you can look at videos on installing a new media rear view mirror. Be careful with the tabs when releasing them to not break them. Using a pry tool will help. Here’s YT short video that has the overall steps, but doesn’t show the actual removal of the plastic covers.

My last time I went in for service (for other issues) I got it done for free. On my appointment in a couple weeks, they added it for free. It probably depends on service center, but I'd guess they will do it for free if there is other service being done.

Same for me. I’ve read they will only do it for free twice but I have not been told that by a SC.

My suggestion is to not unplug any of the electrical connections, nor unscrew the GNSS antenna.
Clips on the glare shield can be brittle when removing and the piece is a little tricky to reinstall. You need to slide the rear tabs into the metal bracket with the shield on an angle and then rotate it up into place.
I pop the gear shifter module off by pulling on the beauty cover, but I have larger hands than average .
