Tesla Service has been tweaking alignments on the cars for years. They don't tend to come away worse than they arrived.
As I said, that has not been my experience. I'd much rather fix something myself if I can. Any time a car goes into a dealer it ends up with more scuffs and scratches.

This is mine. I didn’t want to make a service request until I found something more substantial.

Ok I opened up the roof rack cap so I could see inside to find out if there was a stud in the back. Looks like there is but I could not see a nut on it. Tried to use my camera for looking in tight places but could not see any connection point for it yet But this seems to be what holds this rear cantrail after loosening the T20 screws

And the drivers side. Looks different. Smaller stud and yellow thread lock.

Same problem , I have not seen anyone post pictures with this panel having issues on driver side, every picture “I have” seen are passenger side. Some manufacturing issue I guess.

I did a ticket to see if it can be adjusted. Combining it with an odd defect on my passenger side windshield where it looks like there is a laminate issue or inner crack like mark. I only see it on the passenger side so making sure it’s not an interior crack that can spread. In by like 10/2 right now so SC’s a bit busy.

I only went as far as inspecting if it was adjustable but feel like there are some clips on that cantrail beyond the Torx bolts and studs in the front/back.

Maybe I’m crazy but this doesn’t look like the big of deal to me. I’m
Normally pretty OCD about this stuff but on this truck it kind of just is easy for me to accept that and not notice it every day.

yeah my only issue really is the corner thats elevated. If I’m wiping this down its easy to forget and if your coming at it from the wrong direction its a decent snag or at worst some finger pain.
I’ve learned to live with a bit too. Got a big silver set of fingers on my tail gage too.

Has ANYBODY been able to fix their passenger side cantrail/roof rail alignment? I have the same issue as others in this thread, and I took mine to Tesla in Superior, CO. The tech messed with it but ultimately left it worse than when he started. (This tech also messed up the spare tire install--apparently "toss it in the bed, push it to the front, and strap it down" was too complicated.) Anyway Tesla said they couldn't fix it and then, insultingly, said the truck was sold "as-is" so it's my fault for accepting it. Of course "as-is" has specific legal meaning that does not apply to a vehicle purchased new with warranty.
Anyway, I'm thinking that the passenger side cantrail assembly has a manufacturing defect. How can we get this escalated and fixed properly?
(Edit: pardon my tone. The Tesla service experience left me rather angry.)

My SC made it "better" but still not 100%. No idea what they did, but its close enough. If it helps, they def popped off the black plastic trim to adjust it, because they left it off and I have to pop it back into place.

The front and rear edges of this roof panel must be tricky to align. Anyone get this resolved at the service center? I have an appointment on 4/29.

I was told that it was “within spec.” Even though the left front SS appliqué looks like it is overlapping the front 1/4 panel like in your photo. Sigh…

Has anyone else made an attempt to make adjustments. Or even remove and install the cantrail without screwing it up further?

Im considering removing the cantrail in order to fix the rubber seal or gasket that runs between the windshield and the cantrail. It's not on properly.
