After latest update(2026.20.6.6), tonneau cover showing open in app but is showing closed on screen and is fully closed. Does not give cover open alert. This is ongoing even after truck reboot; app force closure; uninstall and reinstall.

Appointment not related but will discuss with service tech. Will provide update. Photos show open but fully closed.

Thanks. I will.

Mine has been like this, I just chalked it up to this version of the App. The other stuff shows animation when opening or closing like the doors and tailgate but not the tonneau. Mine does not report opened when its closed but its confusing since you never know if the thing is open or close by just looking at the app.

app Version: 4.58.6-4430
CT Version - 2026.14.200

My center console screen did this. Recalibrate corrected. I recognize this isn’t the app but maybe it will help?

Exactly the same for me! I was out of town and parked in a parking garage. I noticed it said the tonneau cover was open. I walked back to the garage at midnight to close it and discovered this issue. I’ve been getting irritated lately with PCS issues, and now this.

Tesla Cybertruck Tonneau cover/app issue (showing open on app even when closed) IMG_7115

After the recent update 2026.20.6.6 , my cyber trucks, Tonneau cover always shows open on the app, even though it’s closed. It shows correctly on the truck screen, however, after doing resets and quitting the app, and restarting my phone, nothing changes. Anyone else having this issue?

There’s a post on this already. Seems common with latest update.
