To be clear for everyone 4.59.0 is currently only iOS App available. Android is still running 4.58.6-4430 App version.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and am still running 4.58.6.

As of now (7/22/26) there is no Tesla Android app version 4.59.0. Latest is still version 4.58.6-4430 for Android Tesla app.
I'm having the same issue on Android. Android is always a few days or weeks behind the iOS version updates.
Just installed 2026.20.6.6/14.3.5 Monday on my CT and started seeing this app issue.

I am having the same issue and I have iOS 4.59.0. I have a service appointment for tomorrow so I will mention this to them.

Mine is doing this, and I also now have buttons to open each door. Kind of scares me a bit to be able to remotely open a door that I can only close manually. Is this a new thing? Or is this some side effect of the PCS replacement I had done yesterday (some part of the truck being stuck in service mode or something?)

It’s not new, been there for a little while IIRC.
Agree with you: you’d think there would be a confirmation modal that gets displayed asking you to confirm (like it does with the frunk).

The reason I sort of think it's some glitch is that nobody else's screenshot shows those arrows, and they keep disappearing and reappearing on mine.

Those door arrows only show up when your phone gets close enough to the truck. Does the same thing on my app.

After latest update(2026.20.6.6), tonneau cover showing open in app but is showing closed on screen and is fully closed. Does not give cover open alert. This is ongoing even after truck reboot; app force closure; uninstall and reinstall.

I have that bug today.

Sorry, I’m on iOS. I’m sure if you delete the app and then reinstall it’ll install the latest one, assuming Tesla has released the updated app for Android

Np. I checked Google Play for a new update and I guess there is no update out for the Android ....I t should be out by December.

You can go to the google play store and bring up the Tesla app. If there is an update it will give you the option to update.

I just checked my app as I hadn't noticed in the past. I took see the arrows at each door and they disappear and reappear. I'm in the house about 70' from the garage so maybe the disappearing thing is just due to connectivity. I saw a video demo of a DIY PPF in which the door was open about an inch. While the man was pointing out something, the door pulled closed, surprising him. Nearly caught his finger. I don't know what model year the CT was but Im curious now if it will always pull a popped door closed after a minute of being unattended.
