With all this talk about cleaning, coatings, and wraps, I'm surprised they're isn't more discussion about Sheila Shine. I saw some posts mentioning it from @Mini2nut, but don't see much chatter otherwise. Seems like a great option for those who want factory finish without a semi permanent coating. Has anyone tried this on a CT yet?

I am picking up Thursday and I ordered 3 cans (spray because I'm that lazy) from Amazon to try out.

Seems like this is THE way to clean stainless and supposedly also reduces fingerprinting. Any reason this is a terrible idea? Planning to try this stuff before considering protectaclear or a wrap. I'll post my experience if folks are interested.

Yes, please give it a try, sounds like it might be more like what I would try... Years ago I went through everything and eventually synthesized my own version that works very well. But therefore it's proprietary, and not something I want to market right now. I'm pretty sure Tesla will have something out in the somewhat near future that also works well.

For those that are wrapping or applying ProtectaClear it’s important to remember that the protective layer will eventually fail.

Normal road debris like sand, small aggregate, road salt, hitting road debris, etc. will cause pitting/tears/cosmetic blemishes to the vinyl wrap on the vulnerable front end, especially the valance area. Wraps will also be vulnerable to lifting/peeling from the SS as the years go by.

When my CT arrives I plan of applying PPF to the LED running light strip and all of the illumination lenses. Otherwise I plan on leaving mine el natural and using SprayWay for after washing cleaning.

Reasoning?
Worried that it is new tech?
Seems like a non-issue with other cars?
To avoid rock chips/cracks?
So it can be coated for rain/snow dispersment?
