I want it just to run the 2 miles of horrible dirt road to our mailbox and back. It takes 13 minutes each way in my car.

For me it's a maybe....it's going to depend on the price tag. If it's 3-6k like comparable 2wd quads, then yes, if its 15-20k like high end 4wd quads, then no.

I don't like riding bicycles where there is other traffic because that adds elements of danger largely beyond my control...
That's the exact reason my spouse decided to opt for the Zero vs a bike that cost half as much.

OMG, they are. They make you feel so powerful! I know people talk about the speed, but they make a little cycle competence into alot, since the bike does what your body tells it to do. There's no hard limit of your muscles vs the wrong gear.

They make cycling fun even for people who aren't into cycling.

Anyone think they might bundle it with CT at a lower price? Like "ATV $10,000 with purchase of CT, $12,500 after"?
It would make sence from a delivery point of view. It would "ride for free" on any CT delivered.......

I am Justifying the purchase as a Eco-Friendly "lawn tractor". With possible grandkids down the road in the future and hopefully a larger piece of property, I hope to make some use of it. A rear mount hitch fabricated might be in order though.

I was watching Wham Baam Teslacam today and there was a Tesla cam video of an ATV in the snow on city streets. It made me wonder. Will the Tesla ATV come with Tesla Cam functionality? Would be nice if it did. Perhaps even with FSD? I doubt it will do all that. But I'm sure in the future there will be FSD ATVs.

Well, there is no screen for a readout, no dash for a cam and if you were actually taking it off-road, cameras would get wiped out and FSD would be trying to avoid branches, bumps, dips, hills... Most of the stuff you want to go over, around and through.

As for the Quad, I would love one, but it will depend on cost and it would not be practical for me, no good nearby places to use one, that I know of.

Wow. How big is your lot, that you gotta drive two miles just to get to the mailbox? I grumble when I have to walk a whole 20 feet to mine. Must be awesome.

Our lot isn't huge, but we live up a dirt road that the USPS determined wasn't in their best interest to navigate, so they installed roughly 64 mail boxes out along the paved street.

Well my vote changes from yes to no with the realization that this will most likely be way over priced, given the kids toy version is $1800 there is no way the real version will be reasonably priced around 5-8k.

I would probably get a zero or metacycle unless the price point was exceedingly compelling.
