I've been using Tessie and TeslaFi at the same time to see how they compare. Degradation on mine is only showing 0.07% on both apps. I need do the BMS calibration cycle to make sure that is accurate. Normally I charge to 80% at home on the mobile charger at 32 amp and the lowest the pack has been is 27%.

Our S and 3 certainly had the largest drop in battery capacity upfront then slowed considerably to a very slow degrade. Our 3 has less range but is doing well with the original battery. My S had a battery replacement at about 108k miles, but i had 18 months where every charge I did was at a supercharger so it was a pretty abused battery pack.

FWIW as a data point or two.

Cheers
my 2019 Model 3 has 23,564 miles.....TeslaFi say I have 12.5% segregation.....bought it new......is this a lot? Should I be worried?

A lot is relative.

my experience is that they tend to degrade an amount and then plateau somewhat asymptotically (if that’s a word). How fast you hit the plateau probably has to do with what percentage you charge it to on a regular basis, how often you charge via supercharger, what temperatures you are operating in, etc. But it seems like there is a certain point at which the rate of degredation dramatically slows until one day the battery just gives up. For my Model S that was at about 105k miles. BUT: i charged it to 100% routinely out of necessity and charged it exclusively via superchargers for about 18 months during that battery’s lifetime so it was pretty abused.

YMMV

Cheers

this may just be some whooey.

Mine goes up and down. It seems to me if it is degradation, it would not go back up.

I do charge weird. Having had solar and wind at my house for many years, I gave up after 15 years because the wet batteries were just not safe. Fire department had to come twice in 10 years!

I still charge super slow when I can. Like 6 amps slow. Then Super Charge when needed on trips.

Mine seems to go back up to near zero degradation when I slow charge.

Really mild here. But hostess, I think my degradation is so low because I charge without a pattern. But mainly as slow as I can. Run it down to 6 amps when I am not going anywhere and supercharge on road trips. But slow is better it seems.

Oh interesting. I don’t have a charger at home so all of my charging is supercharging. Does supercharging hurt the battery long term?

Only have 1,700 miles on CT, but my past Teslas have degraded at about that rate. I launch them as often as possible, so do with that what you will.

I was a little hesitant because of steer-by-wire, thinking initially when the speed was lower it would get squirrely, but it was honestly the easiest launch ever. It knows what you’re doing. Even easier to control than the Plaids.

Does your TeslaFI one show a 'Fleet' line yet?
