Do yourself a favor: tracking in % is greater than tracking in Miles

Vehicle display SOC in % is still after cold pack subtraction. Bar icon shows actual SOC without the handy blue coloring of the phone app.

How has your drain been…how low and how long unconnected?
I park it outside connected to a wall connector. I wouldn't own an EV without that. When I don't plug it in, I lose about fifteen cents worth of electricity each day it's not plugged in. That's why I say it's not a problem. It's peanuts compared to the overall savings compared to gas.

This is good info but makes me think there is something else going on with my truck. I loose about 4% - 6% (or more) per day in a heated garage (warm or cold out) without sentry or anything. It all started with an update back in the summer. I loose more energy to vampire drain than I do driving my truck during the week! This is starting to upset me as I keep thinking it's going to be fixed in the next update but not so far. Before the update I never even lost a whole 1%.
Do you keep sentry mode on or standby mode on?

Sounds like a an EV is not for you. They all expend energy and lose miles while unattended, especially in cold weather.
I have other teslas that are parked right by the truck and lose about 1 mile a week if i dont drive them….

Weird. I do too and they all lose at least a mile or more per day (no sentry mode), in the cold if not plugged in. Wonder what the diff is.

New to the cyber world but interested in this

lost from 94 to 90 % overnight .
cold 3 degrees parked outside . Sentry off, home wifi connectivity on ,

so that may be significant if in 10 -14 day holliday parked in the cold .

There the blue line showing from what I understand is non useable battery .
is that why the drop is it just pure vampire drain ?

Truck shouldn’t be left above 80% for the night only for a long trip right before charge it up past 80.
4% is high but will prob gain most of it back when battery warms up

The blue line is purely due to cold pack. It doesn't add up each day and is recovered if the pack warms up.

So if it warms up should get that blue cold pack back which will get back to 94 again .
So no fear of leaving the car on 30 % and going for a 10 Holliday as that would be a big hassle with that loss per day if I have actually lost that amount of 4 kw per day like yesterday .

Economically at 9 cents a kw its cents .

just charge to 94 once . New truck never been to 100 % yet .

Day 1 277 85%
Day 2 273 / NA
Day 3 270 / NA
Day 4 263 / 80%
Day 5 266 (interesting it went up - maybe warmer out). 80%
Day 6 259 / 80%
Day 7 255 / 79%
Day 8 255 / 80%
Day 9 253 / 80%
Day 10 (TBD)
Day 11 (TBD)

Just updating with the latest miles / %s. The truck is sitting at 80% on day 9. Original charge was 85%. Despite miles changing, the truck is static at 80% charge. Interesting t was one day at 79% but back to 80%.
I will keep watching.
Cheers,

Mine dropped 4% on 32-degree weather.

Since I have a long trip, reset to charge it back to 100%.

It wouldn't do it.

Done measuring. Slow drain without sentry mode on. Happy it stays full while not in use!
