Bed outlets how to keep on?

I’m putting a 59 quart fridge/ freezer in the vault along with a chest freezer that I want power on all the time without having to reset in 12 hours. The dash outlet menu shows a 12 hour time limit. Is there a way to have power to bed outlets all the time?

I don't see a Siri Shortcut for the Keep Outlets On feature to automate resetting it either. You'd have to set a reminder and manually toggle it via app in the mean time.

Other possible option would be get the 120V adapter off the mobile charger, but I'd read up on that to make sure that stays powered like PowerShare. https://shop.tesla.com/product/powershare-outlet-adapter (possible work around)

But like stated here if you charge the truck the outlets don't work either.

My old camp/backup setup was a ECOFlow Delta 2 w/ smart battery. But even with X-Boost running 2 freezers off it was playing a game of chicken with the compressors kicking on at the exact same time tripping the unit. Those would last for around ~16hrs but back feeding with solar or one of the 48V Accessory feeds could keep that setup running. I sometimes use these as a buffer still but they've mostly become redundant.
My big chest freezer was 88w, and my upright was 150w but peak load on startup definitely exceeded the 2400w limit of X-Boost so I staggered them and generally got away with it in a power outage. Can also control them or get alerts via ECOFlow app via wifi/bluetooth.

How about plugging your fridge into something like an EcoFlow to cover the times you forget to turn on the outlets. The River 2 fits in the Smugglers Bay and should keep your fridge on for at least 12 hours.

Not just if charging, the power outlets can't be enabled if the CT is plugged in to a level 1 or 2 charger even if charging is complete. To make this work, it would likely need an inverter and battery backup to provide power while charging (or a swap to shore power). It might be possible to programmatically enable the outlets every 12hr via API, or potentially use camping mode (some people have claimed the outlets stay on indefinitely in camping mode). There would likely be a significant vampire drain associated with either solution, in addition to power requirements of the 2 fridge/freezers.

The truck is always plugged in when not used( set to charge at night) so what I gather is just having the truck plugged in will turn off the outlets? Ok
What if purchased one of the small battery back ups, leave it always plugged into the bed outlet and run the fridge/freezer and freezer off of the battery back up always? Would the back up have enough power to run them over night and would it charge when driving the car? This is getting heavy weight wise and confusing.

That was my thought as well, you can certainly power a UPS from the bed outlets. The biggest issue is going to be getting one big enough to handle the load when the compressors turn on and last long enough. Another option would be a rigging up a small transfer switch, power from the outlets while unplugged and switch over to an extension cord from the house while plugged in. As long as all your AC charging is done at home, it would be less weight and cost.

Step 2: Multiply the power times how long you need it to last before the bed outlets are turned back on to recharge the battery.
Step 3: Go to EcoFlow.com and go shopping.

I am not familiar with battery backup units and know the freezer rating is .75 kw in 24 hours use and the fridge/freezer unit states it is a 65 watt unit on rapid cooling. It should be as simple as plugging it in but no chance! Now my wife calls and says she was going to use the truck but a screen message comes up stating the electrical outlet door is open and it wont allow her to navigate. I’m hoping she just misinterpreted and the screen warning would not stop her from navigating since there is no way to use the outlet while driving with the outlet door closed.
im going to research the power stations now.
