I had it that way originally but I use the D rings on the front side with Velcro straps to hold the rear wheel down from bouncing

Any chance of you getting a measurement of the tailgate height when open/down and the truck in entry mode.
AKA how high off the ground is the bed or tailgate when in the down position?
