I don't know that Kai started Teslovix, only that Kai was claiming to represent Teslovix as well as TesStudio at one point. Then Kai disappeared. About 2 weeks later I received contact from Darren who claims that he represents Teslovix and so far in my dealings with him he has been on the up and up. Could Darren really be Kai posing as someone else? Could Darren be Kai's brother? I suppose anything is possible since I have not met these people in person I can only judge by their actions. I am waiting to see what action Darren/Teslovix take with the other individuals I have provided Darren's information to. Hope that helps.
Either way, I don't think you should be associating yourself with them man... This is not a good look - but thats your choice to make. Seems quite the coincidence that Kai took peoples money and ran and then "Darren" AKA Kai pops up 2 weeks later with a new company.

I disagree, for anyone with the V1 Tesla divider (like me) I think it makes sense to compare it to the aftermarket ones to see what is the same and what is different and which one is more flexible.

As mentioned above, it would also make for a good video to compare the V2 Tesla one with the Aftermarket ones to see if Tesla closed the gap, moved beyond, etc. I haven't heard of any of these dividers having breakage issues unless people forced the latch mechanisms beyond what they could tolerate, was there some other kind of breakage you are referring to?
The title (“Cybertruck Cargo Vault Divider Battle”) says nothing about V1 vs V2, so implies that anyone potentially buying a bed divider TODAY will learn something from this link. The information provided here is completely irrelevant to anyone making a choice today. Maybe it is slightly relevant to the few people who have the V1 divider, but I cannot to see how. For anyone interested in purchasing a bed divider today, this post is useless. Yes, I was referring to the breakage issue where forcing the latch closed destroys the cam mechanism. The revised version adds a spring safety so the latch can close without being properly seated in the side channels, and still cause no damage to the latch.

By the way, if you have a V1 divider, Tesla will replace it with V2 on request if you have a reason (in my case the cam failed and I had a bed mat issue, either reason was sufficient,). Just make a service request). Then you can do a legitimate and useful comparison video.

The video ends with “if I were going to buy one today” without referencing that the OEM version isn’t what you demonstrated. You do acknowledge that fact earlier in the video, but the conclusion isn’t honest because you are comparing apples and oranges and recommending the aftermarket version over the OEM that has been replaced.

Ok this is complete crap, EVERYONE here knows Kai was a representative of @Tesstudio at one point - them just flat out denying he exists is BS. Whether he went rogue and was stealing stuff or just robbing people is still a @Tesstudio problem to make right. If your employee is robbing people as a representative of you, the company is still responsible for making things right, it's YOUR employee. Now whether Kai moved on and started his own company Teslovix is up in the air, the facts remain that we have multiple people cheated by him.

People on here should be weary of buying anything from @Tesstudio or Teslovix

Again, I have no skin in this game but multiple members are reporting flat out THEFT.......
Don't we have instances of Kai using the TesStudio account here? Maybe the @Administrator here should look into who is using the TesStudio account? I concur that if Kai was their employee then TesStudio needs to make it right. The question is, was Kai an employee when he started scamming people or had TesStudio already cut him loose by then?

As for Teslovix, again Darren from there assures me they have no connection with Kai. I suggested to Darren that he come here and make a statement. He was concerned that if he did the admins here might not like it because Teslovix is not a sponsor of this site although Darren said they would consider it in the future depending on how well Teslovix does in the market. Their website has not launched yet so I don't think they would be a sponsor here just yet. Of course, I have no way of proving anything Darren tells me, I can only take him at his word and judge by his actions which so far have been legit, but I understand the skepticism in light of what happened with Kai/TesStudio.

Good to know, I will ask my Tesla service department, they might not like the fact that I modified the ends of mine to make it fit in the past but if they will swap for a V2 then all the better. The article does say that I am comparing the V1 version as does the original post in this topic thread. Didn't have enough space in the video title to get that granular and wanted to leave open the possibility of doing a follow up 2nd video with V2 vs. aftermarket.

If I was buying one today I'd buy aftermarket over the OEM V1 for sure. Which I would buy between aftermarket and OEM V2 is still TBD. Speaking of V2 changes, is there a way to easily see this spring you are talking about in the latch mechanism that prevents latch breakage? If you can shoot a pic of that I can check both of mine to see if either have it and of course if I get a V2 then it would be something I would focus on for follow up video.

I think that’s price dependent. Some people would only buy the knockoff version if it was dramatically cheaper than the Tesla v2 version.
I have the knockoff version and while I like it and it functions mostly well, it’s still has a chinsey feel with a loosish not quality feeling latch mechanism. That may not be true of all of them but certainly true of mine.
