This past weekend before our snow storm hit I went to the grocery store in my Halo Cybertruck to pick up a few things to have on hand in case I couldn't get back to the store for a few days. (I should not have been concerned as my Cyberbeast made short work of 12-14" snow despite tires that are half way through their tread life but more on that in another thread) Anyway, I pull into a parking space and a guy, I'm guessing late 20's, early 30's, pulls up next to me on the passenger side. As I get out of my truck he hollers at me "You didn't really buy that thing did you?" to which I said "excuse me?" and then he proceeds to say "That was a stupid purchase decision... you are a f'ing dumba$$" and then quickly drives off, out of the parking lot and down the road. He didn't need to go to the grocey store, but evidently felt the need to follow me into a parking lot so that he could berate me and my choice in trucks. I need to pull my USB stick and see if I got any of that saved but it may have already been overwritten.

Should I follow Chevy Cruze owners around and tell them what a POS they own?

I'm beginning to wonder if I need to mount a real .50 cal in the back for just such an occasion...

Outdoors, I completely agree. Been a couple threads on this but I just don’t get the need to actually tell someone what you think about how they spent their money. We are all human and have internal dialogue, we have all thought things but the need to go out of your way to say something to someone is just silly. I’ve said it before, why does it matter what people are doing so long as they are not hurting another human or animal. I have zero regrets with my purchase but I understand how some may see it as silly or not a good use of money but we are incredibly fortunate and started saving in 2019.

What is a Chevy Cruze? Sincere question. Never heard of it.

Ignore! People are self-centered, emotional, basket cases. Don’t waste your time even thinking about it.
PS-you could have cheekily said, a Volt would have been a more responsible selection for you! -couldn’t resist

You are in Kansas right? This kinda stuff happened to me in Topeka. Then I moved to southern Colorado and it still happens. A guy was pointing at me and laughing while covering his mouth in a mocking way. I went to see what his problem was and he apologized and said he doesn’t like Elon. Dude must be a pedo or a commie.
I think I’ve finally reached the point where I feel sorry for these people and they don’t bother me anymore. It’s too much of a liability.

These are just mentally small minded people - the same ones that will flip you off for no reason.
I've had kids and adults into their 80's want to take a look at the truck. Most people are just curious, some like you ran into are just mad at the world for one reason or another.

Most responses I get are very favorable, usually people wanting to take pictures with the truck, or they have questions like how long it takes to charge, what does it cost, etc. which I'm always happy to answer. I just had never had anyone go out of their way to be such an a-hole before and while I have no issue with someone not liking the Cybertruck, taking shots at me when they don't know me is uncalled for. Did no one teach this boy any manners?

Perhaps I should start referring to such negative types as "Cruze Boys" (or girls for that matter) I say this because about a month ago I had a black Chevy Cruze turning left in front of me at a light have the driver flip me the bird. I wonder if there is a Cruze forum where they are taking shots at the Cybertruck? Probably something I should alert the FBI to...
