I don’t see a remote possibility of that being real. Have any other angles of it?
Looks very possible to me considering lots of other similar instances.

Too bad this can't be a place for owners to support other owners.

Has anyone run into this issue and did Tesla cover it or is it at my expense.

I thought this was super glass? :)
Big bummer.

That sucks. Some contractor driving a truck w/o mud flaps threw something into my windshield last week and it put a ding into it. The glass is definitely not as strong as I expected it to be at the unveiling.

I literally just pulled it out of the garage. We were getting ready for a road trip. After a minute in the sun it was broken. Grok said there were some warranty claims for lamination issues but no recall and not sure if Tesla will pay for the repair.

Went to get the Model 3 detailed. I guess we are taking that instead. Things break. That's life I guess.

In my experience, Tesla is very good about covering things like this if it's due to a manufacturing defect and not an impact.

Have you contacted Tesla Service yet?

Now that's unique! Like a pressure wave hit it in the middle of the circle. On the other hand, it looks like there's an impact spot. Typically, it seems like if there's an impact, then your car insurance pays, and if there's no impact, then it could be warranty. I put an arrow, where I think an impact is.
On the other hand, remind them it's unique, maybe Tesla or the

It's all smooth on the outside. It just shattered when I pulled it out of the garage.
