One benefit of gas vehicles is that once you get 1,000 miles in problem free you are mostly good to go. The EVs though it seems the number is about 10,000 miles or a year before you can assume any problems have arisen.

Why do you think this ? just curious on what failures present themselves later than a gas vehicle

Gas vehicles will have belts, gaskets, and hoses go out longer term. EVs don't have those.
The downside of mechanical engines and connections is that they break over time, the downside of electronics is they typically have early problem.s

My son got his back from service, made it 18 miles before truck had the same issue. Likely still the high voltage harness, make sure when they fix yours they drive it for a bit before taking it. Or just drive around the parking lot for a while.

I'm more and more comfortable in my decision to wait on ordering back in December (first round) It looks like Tesla has a lot of QC teething troubles to still sort out. I just want a duel motor reg truck anyway.

Truck is done...but got a new alerts about the Ac needs to be recommissioned.

Faulty electronics usually fail within a short time frame. I chalk this up to the first adopter tax. Let’s hope Tesla gets you back on the road ASAP.

My Dad has this same error on his beast.
Went away after getting out of the car and getting back in.
