CT dual vs Tri position of Synchronous Reluctance Motor advantage?

Hello all. From what I understand, the CTBeastlhas the single synchronous reluctance motor in the front drive and inductance motors on the rear drive. This would seem to appear as the most logical place for optimizing regenerative breaking force recapture. The dual motor CT is said to have this motor on the back drive train, with inductance motors on the front. What would the advantage of a rear position synchronous reluctance motor? Thank you for any clarification. I have the tri motor variant reserved and just trying to understand why there would be this difference between the two. Thank you all for your consideration. Cheers,
