The Cybertruck is pretty easy to drive hard due to its nicely balanced weight distribution and the steer by wire, but of course a novice is no match for an experienced driver.
I would expect a novice driver to go slow and be uncomfortable in the Cybertruck initially, but like any vehicle with enough seat time they should get better. I've had some novice students that pick up track skills quickly and some that really struggle to do so.
While I concur that this is true most of the time, there were some spots on yesterday's course where I could certainly come close to hitting those speeds in the Cyberbeast but I wasn't going to try to do that because of the mass and momentum created by doing so and knowing that the brakes would need a lot of distance to haul down from that speed, so no, hitting 112 yesterday and staying on course was not feasible, but I think I could have hit that speed.
It's a shame that the dash cam doesn't also record speed and g's etc like some of the aftermarket systems do.
Yeah that is true, I probably should have said my normal track car is a GT4 as delivered from the factory and its brakes can take a pounding all day long and be just fine. But yeah that's certainly the exception for a "passenger car"
I don't think you know what autocross is. It's pretty unusual to lay out a course where any car can go over 70-80 mph.

I agree that most autocross courses are "tighter" or don't provide any long enough straight to get up to those kinds of speeds, but keep in mind the CT does run 0-60 in 2.5 seconds in beast mode so it doesn't take a lot of time to get up to speed. I did not drive any other cars on Saturday on the course but I did instruct in several and I can tell you I helped a new C4S owner chop 2 seconds off his time with me as a passenger vs. just him alone and he ran a 1:29.something after my instructing so would hazard to guess I could run the same in his car. I don't know what my GT4 would run in this configuration, past configurations have had more corners but some courses longer some shorter so even though it is the same facility, the configuration changes every time so I cannot compare event to event. I had a dinner party to host that evening so I could not stay for the entire event, apologies for not having more comparisons for you.
There were a slew of Porsches from 911 to Boxster to Cayman to Taycan to one Cayenne. There were 2 other non-Porsches, a Mini Cooper and some other dedicated tube frame custom built job. There were both turbo and non-turbo 911's, there were a couple of GT cars, it was a real mix. I could ask the autocross steward for a listing I suppose if you want that level of detail but I don't know if they will provide or not.
