I thought

But, alas. It was just to tell me I was approved for financing and the check/change my details. Oh, that's a dangerous game you're playing there.

So,

I talked to my Tesla rep today and asked about the Core Wheels and he didn't think I would get them. Actually, by the way he talked, I'm not sure if he knew what they were.

I just transferred my payment, when I get the vehicle, (guy said probably at the end of the next week) I'll report back if I got the Core Wheels or not...

Dan the Man from Michigan

Yours will be one of the first with core wheels congrats!

I'm not sure if this has been asked before. , but what time did everybody get their VIN assigned?

Is it a midnight thing, 8 am thing, or 5 pm thing?

Just want to know when it's best to check the Tesla app.

I got mine at 7:45 am. Others I saw here got it late after noon. Seems to be random.
I was checking the app every 30 minutes or so.

And now I'm waiting for delivery to pop up. Only checking it a few times an hour.

I got mine at exactly 6:50 pm last Friday evening. It was a text message with a link. The link opened my Tesla app to finalize getting finance and insurance. VIN was assigned.

got my truck today. Love it. drives a little more like a boat than I expected even in focused mode (think 1968 Cadillac). But that’s part of having such a smooth ride in a truck that can carry 2500 lbs.

Congrats, man!

BTW, if you haven't been contacted by qmerit for powershare / charger installation (I wasn't), you can go here to kickstart the process:

https://qmerit.com/assessment/cybertruck-powershare/

And fill the form in. You take pics of your panels and whatnot, and they'll apparently come back with an estimate for the install. I've done the application form, but am waiting for them to come back with the estimate.

You could ask but I would not worry about it. Doesn’t mean car has an issue. Maybe wife objected, or buyer saw final price out the door of $135K and realized it was too much. Or decided to wait for different interior color or trim non foundation or AWD. And you also have a long warranty if something needs to be addressed

congrats and post pics! Mine confirmed to arrive end of next wk
Lynwood here as well.

7/22 VIN, 8/7 planned arrival and 8/9 delivery if all goes to plan.

Well, my invite arrived on 5/23.

Gray gave me an Oct-Dec delivery window and white gave me a Sep-Dec window (Sep-Nov when I tried AT tires vs AS).

There have been CTs delivered with gray already, so that is not an issue.

Some that changed from gray to white and were in an area where a CT was delivered to the Service Center AND were they were next in line in that area, received their VIN quickly as the vehicle was already there and available. Stroke of luck - right time - right place. For most of us, especially in dense markets with lots of CB orders, we will continue the waiting game.

Mass production simply relies on balancing production with demand. There is more demand for AWD (lower price) than CB and so the production schedule has more AWDs being built. There are only so many CTs they can make. They schedule slots spread throughout the year to meet the need of both. That is why new orders for CB are slated for Q4 deliveries as that is when the production slots are still open.

This just means there is nothing we can do except wait for our production slot to hit the schedule - or be in the right place at the right time with the right config when someone in front of you cancels their already-produced CB.
I received my invitation on 5/24/24 in Missouri. I ordered the Cyberbeast Foundation Series with 20" core wheels and 35" tires, tactical grey décor, off-road light bar, premium accessories, base autopilot, full self-driving capability, and lifetime premium connectivity. The delivery window is from October to December

My turn to join the hand-wringing club.

Day 76

Accelerate Your Cybertruck (LT Shareholder Program)
VIN Date: (Waiting)
VIN:
Delivered:
Trim: BEAST / FS / White / AT

Things have got to change soon, right?
1. New tranche of invitations out in July? (gleaned from X posts, etc.)
2. Tesla reactivates "Accelerate Your Cybertruck" program (Gone since February/March?)
3. Production increased from 1,000/week to (most recently) 1,400/week.

If Tesla is sending out new invitations and programs, it seems like they would do so in response to getting to the end of deliveries from their May (and earlier?) tranches. Why reactivate the Accelerate Your Cybertruck early delivery program?

How does dry anode batteries and revamped motors figure into the equation?
Did some math at some point using the online reservation spreadsheet...I came up with an average of 82 days from order to VIN on average for Cyberbeast. (You have to drop some of the nonsense data. Some folks, I guess, didn't understand the columns).

Well, I'm at day 82, so if there's any validity to my math, I'm at the average today. Frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of waiting.
