no independent info on that, only history and what seems reasonable: when you're invited to configure your order, a meaningful deposit will be required to lock-in the configuration

but who knows, we're in all sorts of unchartered territory

We sure are. Tesla definitely knows how to do you excited, I'll be overseas when I assume that they will do delivery event and just don't want to miss anything if they end up asking us to finish the order if they offer the quad up for the people who ordered the tri etc. Just hope if they do I can get funds to them somehow. Just in case it's a race to upgrade???

I think all members from 2019 should get automatic invites for all the content and discussions we have generated for the CT let alone the pain and struggles of figuring out the bed size etc.

Lets write an open letter to Elon and suggest we have help created 100's of thousands of sales through our diligent posting for over 3 years and that is worth way more then 3 measly referrals.

I'll be happy just getting to watch the event from home. I referred two people to get Model Ys. They ordered literally the week before it went from 2,000 to 10,000 per referral. I tried to plead "But they picked their cars up AFTER the change..." to no avail.

Anyway, it would be neat to be around a bunch of Tesla fans and be able to reflect later on "I was there!" but, that's not in the cards for me. I have the time and can certainly handle the trip cost and more importantly, have a wife who understands but I don't have the referral credits.

Sad me.
