OK, I am confused about how to reconcile “Delivery event” with “ it is an extremely difficult product to build. ”. What do we expect in a delivery event? Is it safe to assume all issues are resolved once that date is arrived?
It’s an extremely difficult delivery event.

Referring a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y purchase scores 10,000 credits, these points are equal to $1,000 when utilizing those credits for purchasing products from the Tesla Mobile App.

Can't I just give them the $3000
all the influenza would buy, hoping they’d recoup in Xwitter impression $
That won't stop them. They will just buy referrals. If I was buying, I would take $1000 to use someone's referral code. In fact... I bet the market value of referrals exceeds $1000 in the next few months.

From previous delivery events, has Tesla revealed final specs and pricing at those events? Or is it still going to be a painful wait?

I mean one would imagine those go hand in hand with delivery, but maybe there's some special arrangement.

Yep, and then watch, tickets would be sold out...haha! If you don't already have the points, just stop now while you're ahead. Turn on your computer the day of the event, folks. It's a truck. (Day-1 reservation holder)

Maybe it's just me, but unless I'm being invited to take delivery, I'm not really too jazzed about attending this in person. Why would I pay money to travel to Austin to watch someone else get their truck? I can just watch online for the specs.

I think in the latter he was addressing the request for specs, etc., but otherwise he is addressing the date as well. No one has announced finding an event application so it probably won’t be in September.

There are good reasons to go:

- see and touch the production CT in person
- probably get some great BBQ
- get a tour of the factory

and there are good reasons to not go:

- we probably won’t get invited anyway
- cost of trip as you say
- crowds
- a bunch of Tesla celebs and influencers congratulating themselves
- probably a great live stream with good video in the coolness of our homes
- we might get those good things when we do pick up our own CT

30,000 Credits (?)
That's not right, surely!
I smell a RAT
I bet there will be some token random invites to stock holders and Cybertruck reservation holders, but the bulk of those attending will be the usual list of employees, friends, media, and influencers.
