Ever since I saw someone’s tailgate getting wrapped warped, images like this make me feel uneasy since the cargo protrudes onto a lowered tailgate. But I’m sure I’m overthinking it especially since your cargo only goes to half of the tailgate.
Yeah, I can only agree with your second sentence. The first sentence is so silly I don't know what to say.

Around 25% of the cargo I've hauled in a pickup over the last 45 plus years, maybe a bit more, was with the tailgate lowered. I've dented plenty of tailgates with heavy items during the loading and unloading phase, but I've never damaged a tailgate during transport. Nor have I ever lost anything out the back of an open tailgate. Because I make sure everything is secured before I drive.

Common sense goes a long way.

Protect the window from what? All heavy loads need to be secured and the Cybertruck comes with more load attachment points than any pickup I've ever seen. Why are people always worried about the rear window? It doesn't make any sense. Only a real yahoo drives around with unsecured loads.

Did people not learn how to use ropes and/or load straps before they turned 18? Do knots easily flummox you? I mean, that's going to make you look real silly in the bedroom when that hot little number at the conference takes you back to her room and tells you she wants to be tied up and blind-folded! What are you going to do? Tell her you flunked Boy Scouts and the Cybertruck is your first truck? 🥴

The Cybertruck bed hauls two full-sized racks (42U) beside each other easily. Nothing hangs over the end of the tailgate.

You must think we are really gullible to post clickbait stories like this on Cybertruck Owners Forum. But a good number of us actually have Cybertrucks and know the difference between your F-150 Lightning and the Cybertruck.

I think if you had actual first-hand experience using the Cybertruck to do real work you would come across as better informed. Instead, you are stuck with an F-150 Lightning which is so inferior, in so many fundamental ways, that you just come across as ignorant, or maybe it's jealousy, I'm not sure.

If you do know how superior the Cybertruck is, that would also explain why you always come here and try to pretend your F-150 is superior to a Cybertruck. But I won't rub it in any more by pointing out all the ways the F-150 is inferior. It's your cross to bear (and it looks like you can't do it without lashing out on the Cybertruck Owners Forum).
