I want a fob. But I am a small user base for a fob. When I had my Y and the fob I could have my hands full of parts/tools and have the hatch open by clicking the fob. I wouldn't have to drop anything to open the hatch. I could usually use the fob even with stuff in both hands.

On the Cybertruck, I either need to hold my phone to open the tailgate/tonneau or put stuff on the ground to open using the buttons. I've tried the Siri voice commands in Shortcuts on the phone, they don't work for me.

The CT is my work vehicle. CT fob is on the wishlist. I tried to use my leftover Y fob for the CT. No go as of now. Can't pair it.

There's probably a cheaper way to distinguish between the cards for our various Teslas, but I'll go with this one :D

Same. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives to distinguishing my wife's Tesla key card from mine, but I like this option better :)
Actually, the cybertruck key cards already have a huge distinguishing factor. If you look at the back of the card where it tells you where to place it it’s actually a picture of a cybertruck. The others are all a generic Tesla B pillar.

I noticed it right away. You guys didn’t notice that? Take a look.

*Also, and far more importantly, you guys know you don’t have to use different cards for different cars, right? You can program any one card for nearly an unlimited number of cars.

Nope, didn't notice; have yet to take out either keycard from the included wallet. Now I'll have to break the seal of the wallet to look. Thanks! (j/p ?)

Lol! I’ll save you the trouble, I wouldn’t want you to have to ruin your pristine seals!

The one on the left is fungible it’s exactly the same on our, S, 3 (former), X & Y.

have my watch for backup now, no need for card!
The plastic card in my wallet is the backup for my phone. I totally don't want another metal card in my wallet.

Something I thought a Foundation Series owner should have received with delivery. However, I'm on an accessory's bender. Cybertruck Projection lights, Cybertruck Detail Kit, anything metal with the Cybertruck profile compels me... *order confirmed* :sneaky:

I would get one if the whole thing was stainless with some sweet etching. I don’t like this design. Especially for $60.

Is the whole card metal, or is some plastic? NFC doesn’t read through metal, unless there is a trick to it.

Wow, can’t believe I didn’t notice this. I have my wife’s keycard (3) and mine in my wallet (and she does the same on hers).

I also just found out you can pair a keycard to multiple vehicles. So we’ve been carrying two keycards when we didn’t have to.

Yes, we pair all keycards to all vehicles. That way no matter which one you’ve got, it will work.

Get a better phone (or configure the phone you have so the Bluetooth doesn't go into power-saving mode).

My phone always unlocks the doors as long as it's between my body and the vehicle (Bluetooth radio signals are attenuated by the water in your body).
