Cybertruck Powershare Failure during blackout

Hello everyone!
I've had powershare for a few weeks now. Got the notification on the app as well as the ability to control the powershare on the app and on the tesla screen.

I tested it about two times by turning off the power with the main breaker and it did indeed work. Purple Icon and everything.

There was a scheduled power outage in my area so I plugged in the truck thinking all would be fine.

I woke up to the blackout and I saw a notification that the powershare said there was a grid outage but then it said there was an error. So it didn't even work!!

Then I checked my app and now all the powershare features are gone. It also disappeared on the tesla screen. It still shows the gateway with the power output as well as the truck plugged in saying backup ready on the app but the cybertruck tesla app powershare features are suddenly gone.

Has this happened to anyone?

Interesting. PowerShare has disappeared from my app too. I’m pretty confident it was previously under controls, but it is no longer there. Haven’t checked the vehicle yet.

Mine is still showing in my app, but unlike you I haven’t tested it by shutting off my power or experiencing a blackout.

Maybe this new "functionality" came from the latest update? Hopefully gets resolved soon

Spoke to Tesla and they just said try uninstalling the app and doing a 2 finger reset. They said to send an email to the power share team and they can look into it further.

Got the new software update thinking it would fix it but its still completely gone from the tesla app and screen.

Was there before the blackout. So weird..

this didn’t happen specifically, but shortly after my install, my gateway became “unregistered from my account” and it stopped working. Everything still showed up, but didn’t show details anymore. I called the installer and they were able to “activate” it again. It’s been working since then. Not sure what happened, but maybe you can check this?

I see this was several weeks ago so I’m a bit behind.

My mind is blown though! I’m still working through the whole PowerShare install process and then I read it might not even work when it’s all said and done.. so many.. feelings..

Do you also have a Powerwall or just the PowerShare?

Are you guys pulling the menu up from the bottom on the control screen tool bar? Its still there on mine along with Bed lights and CyberTent Mode. It's not obvious as it is buried under the control menu strip at the bottom of the Control screen.
