GIVEN:
- Several corroborated statements about the CT Dual having a 123 kWh pack.
- The R1T Dual Large pack is 135 kWh and gets 350 miles.
ASSUMING:
- The CT Dual has the same efficiency as the R1T Large Pack.
THEN:
123/135(350)= 318 miles.
---------
IF:
The R1S Dual Large Pack has an efficiency of 2.32 miles/kWh @7000lbs.
The Model X has an efficiency of 3.03 miles/kWh @5300lbs.
That's 30% higher efficiency to Tesla.
The weight difference is 1700lbs/7000lbs= 24%, heavier to Rivian.
ASSUMING:
Tesla has a rough 6% efficiency gain over Rivian, accounting for weight differential.
THEN:
(123/135(350))1.06= 338 miles.
