Is it possible some of the problems are attributed to off road (ab)use. There is a lot of stress on the skeleton and everything connected to it. Just saying.
I’m sure. Not my issue though. The closest it’s been to off road is 100 feet off the pavement onto the sand at Padre Island National Seashore for a picture and about 3 miles on a dirt road which resulted in a puncture in one of the Pirelli A/S tires. Hence the Destination X/T’s after only 8k miles. It even lives in my garage when it’s not at work. Charges at 24 amps off my old dryer plug. Babied, not abused.

Dec 2024 CB, took possession in Feb 2025. 26,178 odo, 391.8 Wh/mi lifetime. Used for daily commute and long distance.

Cantrail and half shaft bolts replaced per standard recall. One tire replaced, one computer glitch that required a SC reset (no part replacement). On a side note, the half shaft bolts require 220 ft lbs of torque, which for most of us would require a 10 ft cheater bar.

So far no PCS issues, but feel confident the super chargers will work if it goes.

Overall this vehicle is beyond my wildest dreams, it navigates NYC traffic hell as easily as long distance interstate. It has never failed to deliver, though you have to understand its limitations. Winter driving in 0° weather with a full load will result in 100 mi range. PCS and lack of spare are worrisome, but all other aspects of this truck make it worth the risks.

I am about to acquire a PAWD Cybertruck, which unfortunately is on a containment hold at the SC for last one month. While I am excited about it, I am also somewhat apprehensive given the mixed reports regarding reliability. I would appreciate hearing from actual owners about their real-world experience.
* How long you have owned it
* Current mileage
* Whether it has been your daily driver or used occasionally
* Any mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues you have encountered

Overall, how would you rate the Cybertruck’s reliability so far?
I am particularly interested in understanding the long-term durability of the battery pack and electrical systems as mileage accumulates.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
This is my 2nd truck. First one was 2024 FS AWD, that was bought back at 3k miles. This one is 2025 that i got in 2/2025.

currently am just over 12k miles on this. This is my daily driver- id say 70% city, 30% highway. Avg about 330 wh/m over lifetime including northeast winter.

My experience is that this vehicle has needed more service than any other new vehicle I've purchased, but that it is a great vehicle nonetheless.

this CT had the infamous PCS failure, and it was replaced with rev -e so i expect ill need another before long. My power steering module firmware had a stroke and that put the car into limp mode requiring tow to the SC on a weekend…

Additionally, its had lots of creaks vibrations noises that tesla service has mostly resolved,

the black finish on my wheels was damaged by the wheel covers, resulting in replacement of the rims.L

My estimate is that service has replaced over $10,000 worth of parts under warranty (based on epc pricing, $0 out of pocket except for time and frustration) on this vehicle since ive owned it over 10 visits/ 1.5 years

My intent is to keep it as long as possible. I try to bring up warranty stuff as soon as possible to service to ensure it is a covered repair (from the date of first report).

My commute is short enough that the warranty will last. I have access to a wall charger and i only charge to about 50% daily, and only use 10-20% on average before plugging back in. so i dont think my battery is going to degrade much.

My hope is that by the time the warranty runs out in 3 more years, all of the bugs will have been identified and it will be smooth sailing for the next 7+ years. Even if autonomy succeeds, ill still have a CT that can do all of the things it can do today in 10 years, which im ok with. Maybe at that point it will be time for an upgrade.

Lots of miles on mine the only problem with it is it gets dirty and I have to wash it from time to time. Other than that, its the best vehicle I have ever owne and the most reliable.

24 FSCB, delivered 9/11/24. 73k miles. Still reads 300 miles on a full charge (318 new) Pavement mostly will jump curbs or cross a ditch if needed. lots of uber trips in it. 411 lifetime wh/mile. Few long trips 20 or so, and moved all my stuff 2 states away. FL to Arkansas. I love my Truck wouldn’t drive anything different and definitely would buy it again. 97% FSD use but still love to drive it manually. Ride quality is just as good as it was new.

Issues:
Delivered with Cerberus logo half etched, they replaced the tailgate.

self inflected charge port door damaged in autowash. Dangled off had to tape it on. Fixed under warranty.

A USBC charge port melted down in the rear console, guessing charging my vape had something to do with it. Now I use 120v bricks for my devices don’t want another to burnout.

PCS issue replaced at 72k miles. PCS took out the computer and anticulary things with it.

Tailgate closure error, they replaced latches, sensors, and strikers for 750$ ish.

Replaced wiper once and it started to separate in the middle.

Lightbar was installed in Memphis and the passenger side isn’t very stuck to the glass, can see daylight when looking through it and it’s noticeably lifted from the glass. Has brackets, not really worried about it. Also it’s not as bright as I would think it should be, headlights on hi illumination seem to work better.

Get about 40k miles out a set of tires just put my 2nd set on. OEM AT Goodyears.

All cars gonna have issues eventually, I’d buy it again if I had too. 👍👍

Took delivery over 2 years ago, daily driver, 25% of all miles off paved roads, no issues. Best vehicle (of any kind) I've ever owned, 100% reliable. In the first month or two Tesla replaced the early wiper motor even though it worked fine. The last two years zero problems.

Thank you everyone posting their CT experience. Would appreciate if you could post a picture like @Beetlebug62 did along with the State to determine how the weather affects battery usage.
Thank you again.
