Cybertruck towed away Today

Woke up this morning to an alert that my Truck stopped charging at 75%. Didn’t think much of it until I tried to go to work and the truck was completely dead. Contacted support and they asked for it to be towed in to run diagnostics on it. Tow companies are very unfamiliar on how to tow a Cybertruck so that process took a few hours while they spoke to Tesla directly. Hopefully it’s repaired quickly.

Here is hoping it is a quick fix and Tesla learns whatever they need to in order to prevent the rest of us from experiencing this.

Would you share what they had to do in order to get it on the flatbed? Would be nice to know in the event it happens to any of us. Hope they get it fixed quickly. I wonder if any of these failures are related to hot locations.

It wouldn’t go into tow mode for some reason. Tesla had them put it on skates to drag it out of garage.

Reminds me of that LamarMK guy who went through two cybertrucks and still had issues with the second one. Hope you do not have to go through any of that!

But, this has me worried, a bit! Mainly, with the way our garage is situated behind our house and the single car driveway not following a straight path, but a slight ‘S’ from driveway to garage I am worried should this happen to our truck while parked in the garage there may no no way for a flatbed truck to get it out. ?

They also had to manually turn the front wheels by hand because it wasn’t going on straight. Felt sorry for the driver.

Same with mine a while back, same skate process to get it towed. In the end all the SC did was a full power-down reset...in case this helps anyone else, here's how (this was the 'workaround' from the SC, should it occur again):

So, the video says the CT must be unlocked to use the frunk bypass procedure. @CBMW6674, was your truck locked or unlocked for the tow situation?

They can in many, if not most cases. But there are times in which the vehicle does not respond, a dead 12V/48V being one of them.

And if the vehicle was completely dead, that sounds like a possibility.
