My 2024 FS Cyberbeast's Windsheild wiper still has a mind of its own. I just drover from Gainesville Georgia, to North Charleston South Carolina, the to Waterbury Connecticut.
17 hr 30 min (1,150 miles)
on a beautiful sunny, Monday May 18th, 2025 on the East Coast. most of the trip was up I-95 after I left SC. from the moment i left at 4:30am Sunday to the end of my trip. the windsheild wiper would engage, and stop with a half swipe, and stay in the lower position, for approx 2 minutes, then return to upright positon. at least 3 time per hour this happened. i washed my truck the day prior, I did not have any film or residue on the glass. no bugs on the windsheild, however, the bottom of the frunk and front bumper was covered with dead bugs. I stopped approx every 1 and half hours, sometime 2 to supercharge, i did inspect my truck each and every time while charging. My supercharging cost for this trip was $279.00
I just don't understand why the wiper keeps engaging, I believe in the software V12 13.1.2 tesla update there was a windsheild wiper fix, I could be wrong on the update number, however, I did see it come in. now it seems to be worse since the update. it just does what it wants.
I am hoping for a fix soon. currently I am on update 14.6 5 and software 13.2.9

I took deliver last Aug, and currently have 7,280 miles on it, most was high way driving back and forth to GA from CT, i kept it in Ga for the winter because of the Road salt and brine that is used on the roads here in New England, I'm tied of replacing brake lines and sheet metal on my other Ford trucks for rust.

is anyone else having the wiper issues?

I've got a Virginia to Nevada trip coming up. I'll try to keep an eye on it. I do notice it does randomly wipe sometimes.
It stays down in the half wipe to force the water off to the passenger side.

It’s not an issue; it’s an algorithm.

if Tesla would only fix the Algorithm
Unfortunately they do not consider it broken. Camera can't see as well, activate wiper.

That's the issue, the camera drives the car.

If you can’t take the time to reread and edit your post before posting, I can’t take the time to read/respond. Typos and errors in every sentence!

Almost 4800 miles and it didn't seem to be as bad of an issue. Still happens sometimes though. I did notice when shadows frequented across the windshield it happened more often.
