Cybertruck wrapped in 50% Tinted / Smoked PPF Wrap Film

Hey folks

Iliya from TWRAPS here. We've recently wrapped a Cybertruck with 50% tinted PPF. This is 8mil thick, self healing TPU based PPF - the same material used for tinting headlights & tail lights, but we wrapped the entire Cybertruck with it.

The results are interesting - the Cybertruck obviously became darker while keeping the spirit of its overall color & vibe. This being tinted PPF means that the surface texture of the stainless steel still shows, adding some extra depth (but won't hide any pre-existing damage), while also adding reflection/glossy effect.

I snapped a photo during the install to clearly see the difference between OEM and tinted PPF on top. Enjoy

Unfortunately I haven't developed installers network just yet. It's on my todo (and high priority too) but not yet there

We can do it darker for sure (if interested just DM me). We have 30% tint too (tint is measured in VLT - visible light transmission, so the lower the value the darker the tint... 30% will be darker than 50%). So we can do 30%, but it will be glossy again. The only way to achieve matte with current film options would be to apply a satin wrap over the glossy wrap - theoretically possible, but I haven't tested it to be honest + it will be twice as expensive, not sure it's worth it.

Please make this in Satin and/or Matte (which should help obscure blemishes in the steel) and I’m in- thanks!

40% Matte - Legend PPF. They are an American company in North Carolina. The awesome guys at OCD did this.
