Anyone have a clue on security level of tonneau cover?
Do you mean: is it more secure than a trunk? If it can withstand a 300 lb person standing on it and you have sentry mode activated, I would say it is pretty secure. If someone hacks your Tesla account and "breaks" in digitally to your mobile app, the vault is as secure as the rest of the vehicle.

This is great! Tesla needs to put these and other quick videos out like this all over the internet. This could be their advertising. Show off what the vehicles can do, even if it’s just one aspect. The frunk or the tonneau cover, for example.

Nah, as in on the street, can the tonneau be popped via crowbar or some other means.

It looks a *lot* more secure than the Bakflip hard folding tonneau cover I have on my F-150.

The Bakflip requires aluminum channels mounted just inside the top of the bed that nylon latches under each Bakflip panel engage with. It could be popped open instantly with a flat carpenters nail puller (to get your fingers under the end panel) and then a vertical lifting force somewhere around 100 lbs. (probably a lot less) to pop it open. It wouldn't make much noise either.

The Cybervault looks worthy of its name but of course anything can breached with the right tools.

When you figure out how to break into the Vault, feel free to post it absolutely nowhere

The tonneau itself is beefy and prying it out of the track would require a few things: 1) the tonneau rollers are probably set within a track, you would have to have enough leverage to pry it out an the tonneau would have to flex enough to be able to pull it out of the track to begin with. I doubt either will be easily accomplished. I think it is safe to say that the vault will be more secure than your after-market bed cover on 99% of the trucks out there now. Plus sentry mode will be howling and the perp's video will be taken so you stand a great chance of catching the idiot trying to break in.

I’m more focused on whatever locking mechanisms secure the tonneau, not the strength of the cover. I agree that trying to go “through” the cover is less effective.
