He was pretty cool about it. Again, he acted like its happen before. He just said I could think about it and let him know. I even asked him if he thought it could be repaired and I could take a look at it. He just said no, they would have to remove too much material and you'd always be able to see it. I'm guessing they just handed it to the next person who didn't care. Maybe they sent it back to the factory but I doubt it. My friend and I talked about it and I went back and forth a few times and then I decided to give it back. He did ask if I had driven it but I'm not sure why. I had paid for it and I was getting ready to add my phone to the truck when my friend pointed out the scratch. But I never actually drove it.What was the reps reaction when you rejected delivery?
I am sure that for the most part people have been drooling so much they wouldn't think of passing on taking delivery, especially day of.
Nothing, I've just not seen that before. None of my vehicles have rusty water coming out of the middle of the wheel. Even my 2015, $15,000 Nissan frontier. It's not something I've hunted for, but I don't even recall seeing it walking around parking lots and what not. I'll be looking for it now. What makes you think that tiny amount of surface rust would manifest as "rusty water coming out the middle of the wheel"? The amount of iron oxide you are looking at on one of these hubs would be measured in micrograms: dwarfed by the volume of a single drop of water.
Hope you heal quickly!Hey Team, I haven’t forget about you all, I will uploads pictures and video when I can, I got attacked by a dog my arm and leg are in a bad shapes, I didn’t even have time to drive my spaceships yet.
You don't see it because most vehicles have caps covering the center hub. Most will get surface rust under the caps unless they are painted. If the CT had shipped with caps you'd never notice.Nothing, I've just not seen that before. None of my vehicles have rusty water coming out of the middle of the wheel. Like these? Looks like they hide it for a time. I've just been lucky and never seen it on a vehicle before and did not see it as normal. I guess some manufactures put grease on them to help it not rust as much or so fast. You don't see it because most vehicles have caps covering the center hub. Your second paragraph contradicts the first. You do seem to be asking for the cars to be waxed everywhere like a museum piece.Very disappointing! Sorry you had to experience this.
We are not asking the cars to be waxed everywhere like a museum piece. Just a thorough water clean and BKF/Windex for any rail dust stains. Please don’t tell me that’s too much to ask for a 120K car.
Every vehicle you have ever owned has steel disk brake hubs and they have ALL rusted.I just got my new truck, and I was really excited about it. But when I took a closer look, I found a lot of problems with it, especially rust.
Finding rust on a brand-new truck, especially on the day it’s delivered, is not okay. It worries me a lot
I plan to take some pictures to show how bad it is and share them with others. I want people to know that when you buy something new, it should be in good condition.
Even though I still like my new truck, I’m disappointed and worried about the rust. I hope this experience helps others pay more attention to the quality of what they buy and the importance of speaking up when there are problems.
I will be sharing with you more pictures tomorrow or Sunday, the piece of the tailgate was also broken.

Dang that sucks, hope you are doin alright.Hey Team, I haven’t forget about you all, I will uploads pictures and video when I can, I got attacked by a dog my arm and leg are in a bad shapes, I didn’t even have time to drive my spaceships yet.
Fair enough: they should probably be applying something to the hubs. They'll still rust, but more slowly. As far as the external manifestation here, it kinda looks like the design of the wheel/cover funnels water from that area outwards, which is a design oversight.Like these? Looks like they hide it for a time. I've just been lucky and never seen it on a vehicle before and did not see it as normal.
