hmm, I was wondering how reflective that light bar would be. I bet Tesla will bring a firmware update to lower the brightness in certain conditions. Or give us the ability to adjust it as needed.

Must need to be perfect conditions, I’ve had two experiences with this now and both times as long as I had the lows on I was alright. Country roads, pitch black out. Next time it’s really wet and thick I’ll need to jump out and see how bad it can get.

Sadly, my Gen 1 Rivian R1T had this same issue. Now that I have the CT, I’m gonna get some painters tape. That is extremely dangerous, can’t even see the lines on the road, let alone anything past the hood…

Yellow Laminx may solve this problem. I have had that on my fogs on my other cars for years and it is great in snow.

I believe I saw the conection is right in the driver side window panel? Seems it might be pretty easy to install a toggle switch some where close to the driver side area and wouldn’t require a ton of tearing down

Here is the view out the windshield parked …on dark country road at 20 miles per hour total snow blind

I had same experience - that bar, which stays pretty snow free was too bright. Meanwhile my actual lights were caked in snow and ice. Oy...
